Judy began a career in the entertainment world as a
high fashion model for Ford Models in New York City where she lived and
traveled extensively around the world appearing in campaigns such as Armani,
L’oreal and Nivea. She subsequently landed a job as a casting
director/producer at a prestigious advertising agency, Hershey Communications (clients included Bloomingdale’s, Dillard’s
and Espirit), which led to her to become a highly
regarded model agent at two of the world's leading modeling agencies, New York Models and Ford NY.
After working as an agent for several years, Judy went on to become an
editor for Cosmopolitan and then
More Magazine. After only
two months with More, Judy was selected to be the national spokesperson
for their “40+ Model Search” in tandem with Wilhelmina Models. This
included a vast and varied array of interviews with radio, television and
print.
Judy recently wrote a book published by
St. Martin’s Press about the modeling industry called Break Into Modeling for Under $20 which
is her own unique four-step process of breaking into the modeling
industry. She also speaks out in the book against paying unnecessary fees
to break into modeling, as well as tips before and after someone gets
representation. Break Into
Modeling for Under $20 was released in the fall of 2008 and
received national press.
Judy is a host for "City Buzz," hosted a cooking show for McCormick in November 2009, and is also a regular correspondent
